Just so that i’m clear here, this is just the first chapter that i was able to get my hands on so far – in advance of the release in about 2 weeks and i’m excited to see what happens.  Coming off of the high that we had from Billionaire, the roller coaster for this couple, Lila and Alexander shows no sense of slowing down.  They are now more solid than ever in their relationship, and she’s about to start work for one of his companies.  The question becomes whether they’ll be able to make a working relationship work or if there’s going to be trouble in that sense.

The other exciting lead in with this first chapter is that we get more of Jake.  We know that he’s had his share of trouble in the past, and that’s going to all come to a head in this book i think.  We’re getting a tease of the lengths that Alexander will go to protect his brother, and i think that it means that Lila’s role and position in his life will be jeopardized.

So…true Juliette Jones form, we get some really heated scenes just in the first chapter.  the chemistry can be felt from pages away.  They can’t be apart from one another, and the way that their heat is written, you can’t help but to get swept in.

Anyhow – i don’t know how i’m going to last another 2 weeks, but i’ll manage some how until the full book comes out.  I hope you guys make it a point to get both book 1 and book 2!!
