Overview

After being forced out of his company, Nelson returns home a billionaire with a hole in his life. When he meets Kimberly and Samuel, he decides he’ll have them both.

But Kimberly and Samuel aren’t a couple, and Samuel’s the one holding things up. He hasn’t dated a woman in five years, and even though it’s plain he loves Kimberly, he agrees to Nelson’s threesome on the condition that it be only one night.

Kimberly would marry Samuel in an instant if he asked. He’s just not interested. But a single night to satisfy her curiosity is better than never knowing Samuel’s kiss.

There’s no way for Nelson, Samuel and Kimberly to all get what they want. One careless moment of weakness has the power to destroy them.

My Thoughts

Well, I’m usually a huge fan of Cleo’s and love just about any situation that we’re put into with what she’s written but i have to say that i was under whelmed by this one.  I don’t know what it was – i just didn’t get into this first installment of the series.

What we have here is an interesting triangle of sorts.  You have Samuel and Kimbery who are best friends and have this attraction to one another that they wont validate for one reason or another and then you have Nelson who is just too open and willing to come in and show them what they don’t see and at the same time get what he wants from them.

There’s potential here for sure – since i think that’s one of the great things that Ms. Peitsche writes – scenes with multiple partners and really vivid interactions, but it just fell a bit flat in my opinion.  We learn that Nelson likes the naive mixed with the sensual, which is what we gather is the case with Kimberly and Samuel, but aside from that – it’s just a bit all over the place.  We get the beginnings of a relationship between the friends, the intro to BDSM a bit at least from Nelson, and then, i don’t know what else.

I can’t say that i’m going to track down the next installment too quickly, but i think that i owe it to my overall positive opinion of our author to give the rest of it a shot at some point.  so we’ll see.  On that note – Happy tuesday all (although it’s POURING here right now – so i’m not happy).
