Overview

Lindsay has made a terrible mistake.

Her billionaire bosses are ensnaring her grandfather in an elaborate scheme, but Lindsay knows it’s too late. By confronting her grandfather, she accidentally revealed the one thing he can use to control her: her sister.

She loves her bosses and her new life with them, but she won’t abandon her sister again.

Romeo, Slade, and Hawthorne are powerful men, and they convince her to trust them just a little longer. They won’t let anything happen to her.

Then, everything shatters again.

My Thoughts

We’ve been with these 4 for quite some time now and it’s only fitting that the way that they go out is in style.  It’s full of anxiety, tension, scheming, secrets, questions of trust and well…..lots and lots and lots of kinky sex.  Which is EXACTLY what i needed this weekend since mine’s been pretty crappy.

We all know that Lindsay is in a place that’s uncertain with her men – she doesn’t know where she stands with them…well that’s not true – she knows where she stands with Slade but Hawthorne and she have a love/hate thing and Romeo is hung up on their ex.

On top of that though, they don’t let any of that uncertainty get in the way of her ‘training’ and she’s being trained in excess.  when she does things to ‘break rules’ she’s punished, and depending on the boss, she does those things on purpose to get punished.  Which of course makes for some of the hottest sceneing yet in this series.  I mean, we know how to push Hawthorne’s buttons at this point, and it seems like she’s taking it almost a bit too far….eliciting some great reactions.  Romeo on the other hand, well we know that he’s HUGE both physically (muscle tone) and PHYSICALLY – as in he’s very well endowed.  And even lindsay struggles to accommodate him.

The other bit to this series finale is that we still don’t know what’s going to happen with her grandfather, and what the plan is that the men have to trap him.  The won’t let Lindsay in on it and she’s hating that since she can’t protect her sister.  Where it all goes awry though, it’s dicey.

We’re left at the end of this story with an ambush of sorts, the questioning of whether the foursome will last, and well, when 2 people are shot, we actually find that we don’t have to question the relationship since we’re left down a man.

In any event, that’s as much of a spoiler as i’ll allow, but the good news is that we were teased with the idea of a new spin off with Layla – Lindsay’s sister who’s just taken a job in New York.  So…onto the next and enjoy.  Happy Sunday all!

Overview

Lindsay needs to trust someone other than herself, and that means confiding her darkest secret to her billionaire bosses.

The secret that turned her into a desperate runaway seven years ago.

The secret that will destroy her innocent sister’s life.

With her cruel grandfather now aware of Lindsay’s location, time is running out. He’s coming for her, and each of her options can only lead to disaster.

Trusting Romeo, Slade, and Hawthorne will save her.

It will destroy her, too.

My Thoughts

You know how you really get into a story and you have to keep waiting and waiting for the next bits to be revealed?  I feel like that’s the case here – like i really want to know what’s going to happen with these 4 and i have to wait with baded breath for weeks to get the next installment. Don’t get me wrong, it’s always well worth it since you know that you’re going to get some of the dirtiest, raunchiest sex possible from Cleo all the while you’re enjoying a complicated story and plot line.

We pick up in this series with the 3 men deciding that they will do whatever they have to in order to protest Lindsey while taking her grandfather down.  They know that he’s a bad guy but maybe not to the extent of what he’s done yet, and it’s up to Lindsey to give them the necessary information.

If that weren’t enough, we also know that there are a LOT of emotions being tied up into this foursome.  We know that Hawthorne seems to be breaking down his walls a bit from her, and that there’s much less hatred – although it’s definitely still there.  We also know that the fondness that Lindsey has for Slade is reciprocated and that there’s a really strong bond there.  It’s interesting to see what Slade reveals though – and i think that while i expected much of it, it’s still interesting.  Romeo on the other hand, we learn that maybe he’s not as open as we would like and there’s a chance that we’ll learn the back story here.

The point of this installment is twofold i think.  One is to teach Lindsey a lesson, that she can’t just run away from the men and not have a punishment.  She’s being put through her paces at work now in a way that she’s not necessarily happy about yet i think that the guys have a reason for it and we’ll have to be patient to see exactly what their training entails.

The other point is that we need to see Lindsey’s grandfather taken down a few pegs and it seems like that’s not going to be nearly as easy as everyone hoped.  There’s a lot that Lindsey is still hiding and that can only allow the men to go so far.  What will happen is anyone’s guess at this point.

True to Ms. Peitsche’s style, we get some really dirty and hot scening – things that i can only imagine being AMAZING if you were on the receiving end.  Very hot, very steamy and quite naughty.  All makes for great reading for last night at least – a nice way to end my weekend.  From what i saw, it looks like i may not have to wait the longest amount of time for the next installment so i’ll be patient since we’re at such a pivotal part of the story.  and on that note – have a great day everyone!

Overview

Lindsay has never been so alone in her life.

After a private investigator exposes her, she’s on the run once more. Her bottomless bag of tricks is empty, and she’s filling it to the brim with regrets and mistakes.

As danger builds, Lindsay can’t stop thinking about her dominant bosses. Maybe Romeo, Hawthorne, and Slade could save her.

Maybe… if they could find her.

My Thoughts

I really love this story and i’m really curious as to where it’s going.  We know that there’s still so much more to Lindsay’s story than what she’s told the guys so far and i can’t wait to see what the juicy bits are.  I think that the fact that there are 3 very dominating men in her life now, there will be enough safety and security for her to open up and let them help her out.

So where we find ourselves in this next installment is that Lindsay has run away from the guys if you recall and that she’s not in Millford Crossing, the town that she grew up, in the hopes of seeing her sister, yet she seems to be tooscared to really go to the mansion in case her grandfather is there and sees her.  that would be bad.

So we are with her while she’s holed up in hotel, hiding out and trying to bide her time, all the while she’s saddened that none of the guys have reached out to her and she’s even more upset that she’s feeling sad about that too.

It’s only when there’s an emergency with Bandit, the cat that Hawthorne rescued for her that things take a turn.  She’s forced to reach out to get the name of Hawthorne’s sister, and well, you can only assume that once contact is made, the men will come swooping in and take control again.  I think that the best bit here is that you just don;t know what that will mean for Lindsay and what she’ll have to give up in the meantime.

The nice thing about this short novella installment is that we get to the crux of a few things.  We slowly see that barriers are coming down and we see that there’s still a chance that she’ll open up to the men even if they prod her.  In return, they offer to give up some information about themselves too so that it’s a semi-even trade, and i think that it’s only going to make their relationship stronger – assuming that they are able to repair it.  and that’s still to be seen.

As we have come to expect from Ms. Peitsche, we get some GREAT scening.  while it’s limited here in this 77 page installment, what we do get is great.  It’s the mix of Naughty BDSM and group activities that i don’t know what i’d do without when i read her series.  While it’s not my personal thing, the way that it’s written is still hot and you can see that there’s such chemistry between these 4 that you can help but be intrigued and turned on.

So with that thought, i’ll leave you and i guess well just have to wait and see what’s next.  i think that their relationship is getting to a point where it’s got to take a big leap or things will fall apart, and then there’s the tension of grandfather and what it is that he has over Lindsay and vice versa.  so…..Enjoy!

Overview

Working for Romeo, Hawthorne, and Slade is a challenge, but the dominant men give Lindsay exactly what she needs. Even though Hawthorne continues to drive her insane, she’s happy with her new life.

But when a stranger with a gun steps out of the shadows, Lindsay realizes that happy is dangerous.

Happy will get her killed.

A woman with Lindsay’s past doesn’t have the luxury of waiting for a knight on a white horse. She’ll have to settle for an arrogant, condescending billionaire… one whose goal has always been to get rid of her.

Desperate women don’t get easy choices.

My Thoughts

Well, we’re slowly but surely seeing Hawthorne warm up to Lindsay – so that’s a good thing since we know how much tension there is between them.  He’s definitely the dominant in this whole party . And there’s reason for it i guess.

So where we pick back up in this third installment is where Lindsay is helping finalize the buyout of a company and she’s working late for her three men.  Of course she gets to ogle them and fantasize about them, but the problem is that while she looks at them separately, they’ve made it clear that it’s an all or nothing thing so she just gets to dream.

Things take a turn for the worse one night when she’s working late and let her guard down and is kidnapped.  We know that her grandfather is looking for her, yet we really don’t know what the deal is there – there has to be more to the story than what we’ve been told – that Lindsay and her sister were used for law suits – but we just haven’t gotten to the crux of it yet.  I feel like we’re on the edge of a breakthrough in this book, but nope  just teetering over the edge.

What’s nice here is that we get to see some great one on one time with Lindsay and each of the men.  it’s hot and not just in a sexual way since you know that can’t happen.  there are romantic notions and bonds being developed that make this story even more interesting to read.  I can only hope that we get to see a happy ending – yet i think that knowing how skittish Lindsay is, it’s going to be hard to get there.

It’s another cliff hanger that we’re left on – after nights of great passion and raunchy scening, she’s making a choice again – where she needs to be and if she has to go on the run again- and based on her past, going on the run is what she’ll do….where though?  that’s another question entirely and who’s going to find her first – the threesome or her grandfather’s hired guns?

Overview

The skills that keep Lindsay alive are turning into liabilities. She needs to keep covering her tracks, which means lying to her bosses in order to hide her true identity.
Hawthorne, Romeo and Slade are powerful men who have zero tolerance for what they perceive as disrespect. They spell it out clearly: no more lies. As much as Lindsay wants to walk away, she knows the three men give her something no one else can.
When someone from her previous life recognizes her, her bosses demand to know who she really is and what she’s running from.
Is a half-truth a truth? Or is it just another lie?

My Thoughts

The story continues with these 4, and if you remember, we last left them when there was an offer out to Lindsay for a better working situation.  To Hawthorne’s chagrin of course though since he’s the one that outwardly seems to have the biggest issue with her.  (personally i think that it means that under all the facade – he likes her the most).  anyhow, we are now picking up as she’s in a different position, working for the guys in a way that will help their business.  she’s there as an asst officially but instead she’s able to watch the room during meetings and help sort out the best angle for their success.  She’s excelling at this of course and well, i’m sure there’s more that’s going to come of it.

Throughout this 2nd installment, we are left to wonder what the depth of Lindsay’s secrets are, especially since we find her at the bank trying to empty her safety deposit box, all the while looking over her shoulder.  and spying someone that is questionable and makes her uncomfortable.  I can’t wait to see what happens – if it’s just a matter of someone looking for her to bring her home, or if she’s in ‘grave danger’.  seeing as how she talks about feeling safe in Slade’s arms – i’m guessing it’s more the latter.

anyhow, we get some great scening with this story line – there’s something hot about a woman who knows her sexuality, and yet is so easily overpowered by 3 men that own theirs.  The things that they do to her, all at the same time are graphic, but hot at the same time and i think that we’ll see that as hot as it is, the all or nothing may become a problem.  who knows though.

So, we are left off wondering if they are going to let her go since she’s hiding her secrets, or if they are going to continue down the path.  will Hawthorne continue to have issues or will he warm up to her and well, what’s the end game?  I still don’t know what they are all hoping to get out of this, and well, since we don’t have a full back story, we don’t know what started it in the first place.  Oh well.  enjoy!

Overview

To stay alive, Lindsay has always relied on her looks and her wits. It’s not always enough, and underneath her carefully polished exterior is a desperate woman who will do anything to survive.

When she’s called to account for her misuse of the company credit card, she hopes to flirt her way out of trouble. Instead she finds herself faced with a gorgeous stranger who is immune to her manipulation, and she’s shocked by the punishment he deals out.

No one in the office can tell her who the stranger is, and when she encounters him again weeks later, things take another unexpected turn… times three. Three handsome, rich businessmen. In their arms, she almost feels safe.

But she knows the truth: safe is an illusion, and staying alive is all that matters.

My Thoughts

What we have here is a style of series that our author Ms. Peitsche does best.  We get a leading lady that has an interesting back story that we won’t know the gist of for a while and many many successful sexy men that are going to intertwine themselves into her life.  In the case of past series that i’ve read, there’s always at least 1 man who hates her, one who’s ambiguous and one that really wants to protect and coddle her.  That’s what we have here.

Hawthorne, the first man that Lindsey meets is the one that hates her, and the one that seems like he’s really the Alpha among this pack.  He’s not necessarily thrilled with the way that things are going but i think that he’s going to be the one to keep it all together.

Romeo (lovely name no?) is the one that is a bit ambiguous at times, he’s attracted to her of course and finds her value but he’s not necessarily leaning in any one direction.

Slade – he’s the interesting one – he definitely appreciates what she has to offer, wants to protect her and actually makes Lindsey feel safe when we’re not sure what she needs to keep running from.

Throughout this story, we get a few scenes that really makes you wonder how much one girl can take from multiple partners at the same time, and these gentlemen push her to her limits on several occasions.  There are hints of what Lindsey is running from – something that has to do with her Grandfather – but to what extent – that will hopefully unfold in the coming installments.

So, between you and me, i’m really interested to see where this relationship goes.  They offer her a better opportunity for work as a way to stay with them as well as to repay her debt and i think that we’ll see if that’s a good idea or not.  I think that we will be left with some great tension since that’s always the case with this author, and you won’t be left wanting heat and passion and chemistry either since there’s something to be said about how Ms. Peitsche weaves a story that includes so many partners without crossing over any hard limits.  so….onto the next i suppose and enjoy!
