Overview

Elle’s domineering billionaire bosses introduce her to the world as theirs, unleashing public scrutiny that she’s not prepared for. As if that weren’t trouble enough, they want her to choose which of them to marry.

Cunningham—brooding, controlling and dominant. Jonathan—confident and playful with movie star looks. Nolan—spoiled playboy who knows Elle better than she knows herself.

It’s an impossible decision, one that’s destroying Elle. She’s been submitting to her bosses for months, but she’s never felt so helpless. Deep down, who does she love the most?

My Thoughts

We’ve gone on this journey with Elle for so long, that it’s no wonder she’s found herself in the situation where she loves all 3 of her lovers, wants to be with them, but not in the public and can’t be forced to choose if there’s one that she loves more.  Well, between you and me, i think that it’s clear which one she loves more – but she won’t admit it to herself…or will she.

This 6th and perhaps final installment brings us quickly to the point where her lovers have decided to out themselves as a couple in the hopes that it’ll give Elle more security in things and help her stand on her own.  This of course is what she wants on paper but in life, and practice – it’s terrifying.

Nolan and Jonathan continue to help smooth things over for her when she disappoints Cunningham, and he’s the Alpha – so you know that she’s always on edge with him.  That’s the higher level of love in my opinion, but i don’t know if we’ll ever get there.

So, as we left off in the last installment, Elle kind of needs to choose who to be with and how to keep things working.  that’s the undercurrent in this story  – wondering what her choice will be and what affect it will have.  We know that the men are willing to do anything for her (and to her) to keep her happy – and it’s quite hot and creative to see how they get there.

We continue to see Elle’s experience and education grow – she is forced into more complex situations – with multiple lovers that well, even she’s surprised with.  The choices that the men make for themselves and for Elle as the story progresses really makes things go in a specific path, and honestly, i’m rather pleased with who ends up with whom and how.

I hope you guys have taken this journey and i hope that you enjoy it.

Review: Soft Skills (Office Toy #5) by Cleo Peitsche

Series: Office Toy #5

Overview

SOFT SKILLS is an erotic romance novella of 15,000 words. M/m/m/f (three men, one woman). Includes public punishment and publicly submitting to a stranger at the command of her dominant boss.

An office hazing leaves Elle feeling vulnerable, and she finds herself defying her three bosses, secretly begging to be taken in hand so that order will be restored to her world.
Cunningham teaches Elle a lesson… on the side of the road. She squirms in front of the growing crowd, and she can’t believe her ears when Cunningham calls for volunteers to restrain her. She loves his dominance, but the second it’s over she defies him again.
His response shocks her. Before the week is over, everything Elle thought she knew about Cunningham, Jonathan and Nolan is turned upside down, and none of their lives will never be the same.

My Thoughts

It was a nice surprise to see this alert pop up in my Goodreads ‘books by authors you’ve read’ since i wasn’t expecting book 5 to be out so quickly.  In any event, we pick up right where we’ve left off with Elle and her many men.  She’s now coming into her own at the agency, proving that she’s got her own ability and this next installment starts when she’s just had a very successful client meeting, however when she arrives back at the office, Nolan and Jonathan alert her to the fact that Cunningham is very displeased about something and you can only imagine how on edge she is since she’s not quite sure if it’s something that she’s knowingly or unknowingly done or if it’s because she’s been so lax in setting up a meeting with the guys and her mom.

in any event, since we know that this foursome doesn’t like to be too comfortable with one another (meaning that they like to be on edge)  – the imbalance upon her return means that Elle can surely expect to be put through her paces in the office boardroom and with her favorite men.  We see quite a bit of steamy control action there and then it’s taken to another level as the story continues.

What i love here is that Elle never settles into the relationship as you’d expect her too.  she’s still mouthy which comes at it’s own price – namely some very public scening which added a nice quirk in this book.  The direction that this series is taking it a nice one.  we know that they’ve moved on far past ‘just sex’ and that there’s real emotion and love going on between everyone.  what that means for each man and for elle is still to be determined and it’ll be a great story to follow to see if the man that we expect to be #1 actually is…..or if there’s something else that’ll come out of their relationships.

Series: Office Toy #1

Overview

Elle’s job interview starts with Cunningham throwing away her cheap clothes and sending his assistant to buy new outfits. He’s got her naked, so of course he’ll lay her out on the conference table and claim her mouth. Soon Elle is trussed up, all of her holes stretched full while three hot men have their wicked way.

She loves her first tastes of liberated, naughty sex. But she’d better not start falling for her boss—no matter how safe he makes her feel—because while office sex is encouraged, romance is strictly forbidden.

My Thoughts

i’m still not quite sure what to make of this little story – it’s about 24 pages of an orgy.  We meet Elle when she’s going to a job interview at what i think is supposed to be an advertising agency, however that’s not at all what her interview turns out to be.  She meets Nolan the receptionist who’s handsome but quite rude, then she meets Cunningham, who’s the boss who’s strikingly handsome and then she meets Jonathan the other boss who’s absolutely beautiful.

Following her phone interview she should have realized that things weren’t quite normal – she had to undergo a psychological screening first before coming in for an in person, and then once she’s in the office – Cunningham looks at her portfolio for about 5 seconds and then says ‘what would you do to get this job’, and then when elle says ‘anything’, he proceeds to have Nolan go out and buy her a new wardrobe in a matter of minutes, and an interesting threesome among Jonathan, cunningham and Elle ensue.  Upon Nolan’s return, he involves himself too.

Throughout this, we get the sense that Elle is quite sexual in nature anyhow since she talks about her toys at home and has these fantasies that tie directly to what’s going on.

I kept expecting there to be a story at least but i’m not sure what i really expected given that it was just a 24 page snippet.  There’s not much else to say about this expect if you want a quick steamy scene, check out this little book.
