My Thoughts

I’m a big fan of Ms Silks so i was really happy to come across this first novella installment to the series.  although it’s quite short – it’s a great beginning to what seems like will be a complicated yet passionate story.

As the overview tells us, we meet our leading lady – her husband passed away 2 years ago and she’s yet to truly enter back into the world of the living.  She’s got a son who she does everything for and that’s her entire life’s purpose.  It’s at the prodding of her best friend that she goes on this vacation to Hawaii which turns out to be a nudist resort.  There she meets Sean who makes her feel things that she’s missed out on for years.

Of course things can’t ever be that easy.  What seems like a quick to build relationship of course becomes something much more complicated when a natural disaster breaks them apart and that’s where we’re left off.  Who knows when and if they will find each other again and what that will mean to the budding romance.

True to Lacey Silks’ style, we get the teasing beginnings of some great heat and passion – a chemistry that seems like it could truly be explosive.  I can only hope that we get to see how that culminates in the next book which i’ve already downloaded.  On that note – Happy Thursday and enjoy!
