Overview

She’s lived with the mistake of choosing the wrong guy in high school, but Paige can no longer deny that Colin, now her dentist whom she rejected, has always held her heart. When Colin admits he shouldn’t have let her go, Paige can no longer lie about her feelings. Soon, their friendly appointment turns into a passionate session, geared to fulfill both their needs.

My Thoughts 

and the series continues – this time we get to see the connection from the book prior in the wife of the doctor – and get to perhaps glimpse a bit more into what’s going on here.  It’s yet another short novella – too short really -but still all a great set up.  Paige in this instance is the wife of the doctor from the conventions in the book prior, and we get to see that she is regretting a choice that she made in choosing the man to be her forever.  He decided that working was perhaps more important and that drives her to wonder if the boy from high school, ironically who was her husband’s partner in the dental practice was the right one.

True to Ms Silks style, again we get one really great steamy scene, you can feel that there’s so much of a connection and passion here that you really want to see what’s going to happen next.  will we?  who knows.  Enjoy!

Overview

Casey had been looking to re-connect with her husband emotionally and physically, but even her weight loss and sexy lingerie doesn’t help. When a gym’s owner becomes aware of Casey’s needs, and understands an unsatisfied marriage as well, Casey finds it easy to trust someone other than her husband to fulfill her.

My Thoughts

I love Ms Silks as an author and when i realized that i’ve missed out on the rest of this series, i had to get the remaining books.  (novellas – whatever).  So in this quick snippet of the bigger story, we get to see a scene in the story of Casey – where she’s clearly not blind to what’s going on in her marriage and had taken steps to get to a good place which didn’t work.  while that was happening, she got the attention of her trainer who ironically had a similar situation going on at home as well, and well, you can only imagine what will ensue.

Nothing too complex here, just the expected heat and passion from Ms. Lacey Silks.  and on that note, i’ll dive into the next one and be back shortly.  Have a great friday everyone and for those of you in the past of this big snowstorm – stay warm.

Overview

Tuesdays belong to Claire and not even her lover’s wife can get in the way. The one hour appointment in his office needs to be uninterrupted, but when a call from Richard’s wife excites Claire more than she expected, she makes it a point to keep the wife on the phone while she gets what she came for. After all, Tuesdays are all about Claire.
Contains mature content intended for adult audiences only. This short story is part of a series but can be read alone. The “My Reason To Cheat” series follows the lives of five women who decide to be unfaithful and are all connected.

My Thoughts

I’m a fan of Ms Silks from the ‘Layers Trilogy’ so i figured that i’d have to find something else of hers to read.  This novella is a bit of a tease since it’s literally just one chapter but i suppose in the longer form when we have the whole series, it’ll be ok.

We get a very quick glimpse into an affair in motion – Ms. Jones (Mistress Claire i’m guessing) has a standing lunch time appointment with Mr Franklin on Tuesdays and i’m gathering it’s pretty fulfilling.  on this one occasion however, his wife is there just immediately prior to their appointment, and that adds some tension of course.

Where it’ll go, who knows – what makes things complicated – we’ll only find out as the series continues i’d assume.  If you have 10 minutes – i’d suggest you enter their sexy world.
